Apparently my assignments are slowly killing.
Nyeah.
Okay, this was what happened to me a few days back that correspondingly made me acknowledge certain things in life - or perhaps only in Singapore.
It was 0700AM on a Saturday morning. I was at the busstop alongside Khatib MRT station awaiting for my 969 to take me home. Thus feeling excessively drained and tired from the deprivation of sleep, I was naturally hoping to get my ass on a seat in the bus.
So, on board the bus ( which took 1/2 hr of my fudging time btw ) , there were absolutely no seats at all available. I mean, don't get me wrong - I'm not a high-strung lady who needs pampering and a seat at a snap of my finger. But what got me dumbfounded was the fact that approx. 4/5 of the population sitting down were males and almost all of them were acceptably healthy able-bodied guys! And to top it all of, every single one standing were ladies. And a few aunties la. Heh- Anyway -Shesssh.
Guys, seriously. When does being a gentleman take place in your lives at all?
I'm not trying to stereotype the male population, but if the statement that I just made does not seem to register in your brain, this scenario would not have happened in the first place, would'nt it?
Geeezz, and if anyone wish to argue with me about this, think about it. And then prove it to yourself if not to me. And again, ponder upon this la - If you were on board the exact same bus as me, comfortably sitting down, would you have given up a seat for a lady even if she was not beautiful.
I don't need an answer. A pleasant action done would be nice though.
Okay done. ~Toodlez
. End .
